Lauren Kay has lived in the Chicago suburbs her entire life. She studied Hospitality Administration at Northern Illinois University. While attending, she interned with the university by coordinating the Northern Illinois Wedding Expo. Upon completing her internship, she graduated with honors in 2013.

Always passionate about the wedding industry, Lauren found herself working as a bridal stylist shortly after graduation. After some hard work and good fortune she was able to begin her career as a Meeting Planner for an association in 2015.

Feeling the need for something more and with encouragement from family, friends and co-workers she started Your Day by Lauren Kay in 2018.

​

In her free time she enjoys spending time with the people she loves most, shopping and binging on the latest and greatest TV shows. But no matter how enjoyable free time may be, she'd rather be assisting as many couples with their wedding as possible!
